Guest Experience Coordinator

Overview

The Guest Experience Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact at Peachtree Pickleball. This role is key to ensuring smooth daily operations and positive guest experiences through efficient task management and excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment focused on responding to the needs of all guests, vendors, and management
  • Oversee the check-in process and assist new guests in utilizing the court reservation software
  • Assess the individual needs and interests of guests and provide explanations of all applicable offerings including, but not limited to, court reservations, programming, and equipment rental
  • Manage incoming inquiries including phone calls, emails, and walk-ins directing inquiries to management when appropriate
  • Operate the POS system and take payment for court reservations, programs, retail, and food and beverage
  • Maintain a clean and organized entryway at the front desk while periodically checking bathrooms, courts, and viewing/waiting areas for trash, forgotten items, and/or hazards
  • Complete opening and closing duties as required
  • Report all maintenance/safety issues to management
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

 

Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification – training will be available for those without current certifications
  • A self-motivated, team player, able to identify priorities and manage a variety of tasks
  • Previous customer service experience and the desire to achieve a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Comfort and ease in utilizing Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and basic technology
  • Previous experience using CourtReserve either as a guest or in an administrative role is preferred
  • A general interest in or involvement with the pickleball community, with a basic understanding of the rules, scoring, and methods of play

 

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • This position is not sedentary; frequent walking and standing on hard surfaces will be required.

Shift Lead

Overview

The Shift Lead will work with Guest Experience Coordinators and Management to ensure smooth daily operations and positive guest experiences. This role will serve in a leadership capacity as necessary and attend to operational needs outside of the Guest Experience Coordinator’s daily function.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional environment focused on responding to the needs of all guests, vendors, and management
  • Assist the Guest Experience Coordinator in periods of high-volume check-ins, primarily focusing on any issues that arise during check-ins or guests that require additional assistance
  • Collaborate with the Guest Experience Coordinator to ensure adequate coverage and supervision throughout the facility
  • Proactively assess guest and operational needs during periodic walk-through inspections and respond accordingly
  • Identify possible inefficiencies in daily operations and provide suggestions for improvement as needed
  • Ensure the proper completion of opening or closing procedures each shift
  • Report all maintenance/safety issues to management
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or the equivalent
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification – training will be available for those without current certifications
  • The ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently as necessary
  • A motivated, reliable individual with an intrinsic desire to support company objectives
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort and ease in utilizing Microsoft Office, internet browsers, and basic technology
  • Previous experience using CourtReserve either as a guest or in an administrative role is preferred
  • A general interest in or involvement with the pickleball community, with a basic understanding of the rules, scoring, and methods of play
